Gazette No. 67 — Voluntary Contribution Program

Be it known and placed on record: That the Secretariat of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River hereby establishes the Voluntary Contribution Program for the National Treasury Account, governing voluntary contributions from individuals, organizations, and institutions in support of the Secretariat's constitutional programme, conservation work, and institutional development. I. The VCI001 Instrument Family The VCI001 instrument family governs all voluntary contributions to the National Treasury Account of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River Secretariat. Nine program directions are issued under this gazette instrument, each establishing a category of contribution and its application to the Secretariat's institutional programmes. II. The Nine Program Directions (i)

Constitutional Programme Support — contributions in support of the Mandamus Application and associated legal proceedings. (ii)

Register of the Nation — contributions supporting the maintenance and expansion of the institutional record. (iii)

Gazette Publication — contributions supporting the publication and distribution of the Gazette series. (iv)

Land Stewardship — contributions supporting the conservation and stewardship of Haldimand corridor lands. (v)

Language Development — contributions supporting the Kanienʼkeha Language Development Institute. (vi)

Community Education — contributions supporting Mohawk University educational programmes. (vii)

Institutional Infrastructure — contributions supporting the physical and administrative infrastructure of the Secretariat. (viii)

Emergency Relief — contributions for emergency response within the Haldimand corridor. (ix)

BlueBelt Conservation — contributions supporting the BlueBelt + Grand River Haldimand Tract Land Trust Conservancy (G59), being the Nation's primary land stewardship institution. III. Amendment G67-A1 Amendment G67-A1 is registered concurrently with this instrument and provides for the application of contributed funds in accordance with the National Treasury Account Rules established under Gazette No. 10 (Instrument of Financial Authority). No financial instrument of the Secretariat shall be made without the knowledge and concurrence of the Treasurer General.
