Be it known and placed on record: That the Registrar General of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River Secretariat hereby attests to his appointment and his authority over the Register of the Nation.

I. Identity and Appointment

Jesse Butler UE, Registrar General. Appointed by the Secretary-General. Authority to receive, examine, certify, and preserve all instruments of the Secretariat. Signatory authority for all Register entries and Gazette certifications.

II. Authority of the Register

The Registrar General is the custodian of the Register of the Nation. Every instrument entered in the Register bears the certification of the Registrar General. No instrument lacking this certification is valid for purposes of the Secretariat’s institutional record. The Registrar General’s certification is the mechanism by which instruments enter the constitutional and institutional record of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River.

The Register of the Nation is a public record in the sense that its instruments are published in the Two Row Times. It is not subject to amendment, correction, or deletion by any authority other than the Secretary-General acting with the concurrence of the Registrar General under the Rules of the Register (G17).
