Gazette No. 26 — National Identification Framework

Be it known and placed on record: That the National Identification Framework of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River Secretariat is hereby established to govern the issuance of identification documents, credentials, and certificates under the authority of the Secretariat.

The Framework covers:

• Citizenship Certificates (CIT001) — issued upon a formal determination of citizenship under G19
• Driver Credentials (DRV001) — issued under G46 to persons operating National Vehicle Registry vehicles
• Vehicle Registrations (VEH001) — issued under G44 to vehicles registered in the NVR
• Plate Certificates (NVR001) — accompanying the NVR plate system
• Resident Identification Cards (RID001) — issued under G47

All identification documents issued under the National Identification Framework carry the Three-Block Record Code tracking number and the authority of the issuing office. They are entered in the relevant register and certified by the Registrar General.
