Be it known and placed on record: That the financial authority of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River Secretariat is established in the office of the Treasurer General, and that no financial instrument of the Secretariat shall be made, issued, or disbursed without the knowledge and concurrence of the Treasurer General.
I. The National Treasury Account
The National Treasury Account is the primary financial account of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River Secretariat, established to receive voluntary contributions (G67), trust distributions (G25), and institutional revenues arising from the constitutional programme.
II. Authority and Concurrence
No disbursement from the National Treasury Account may be made without the concurrence of both the Treasurer General and the Secretary-General. All financial instruments carry the tracking code of the issuing officer and are entered in the Register under the TRK series.
III. Relationship to Other Financial Instruments
Gazette No. 10 governs the following financial instruments: G24 (National Treasury Account establishment); G25 (Haldimand Lands Trust Account); G26 (National Identification Framework fees); G67 (Voluntary Contribution Program, nine directions). No instrument in these series is valid without conformity to the authority established by this Gazette.
