This declaration records the Nation’s continuing territorial jurisdiction in the Grand River Territory, being the lands set apart and confirmed for the Mohawk Nation and its posterity by Crown instruments of 1779, 1784, and 1791, and places outside parties on notice of that jurisdiction.
