Gazette No. 75 — MNG Patent and Intellectual Property Registry

Be it known and placed on record: That the Secretariat of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River hereby establishes the MNG Patent and Intellectual Property Registry, recording the Nation's IP interests including institutional names, instrument codes, creative works, and territorial designations under Secretariat authority. I. Scope of the Registry The MNG Registry governs the following categories of intellectual property and institutional identity: (i)

Secretariat institutional names and official titles — including 'Mohawk Nation of Grand River Secretariat,' 'Register of the Nation,' 'Gazette of the Mohawk Nation of Grand River,' and all associated office and branch designations. (ii)

Instrument codes and the Three-Block Record Code Format — including all GZT, REG, SG, AG, RG, and associated prefix codes. (iii)

The Grand River territory geographic designation and the Haldimand corridor map. (iv)

Creative and cultural works produced under Secretariat authority — including publications in the Two Row Times under the Secretariat's authority, and creative works produced by Secretary-General Benjamin Doolittle UE under the name One Way Current, published by Corn Press Publications. (v)

The constitutional programme documentation — including the Application for Writ of Mandamus (G63), the Memorandum of Fact and Law (G64), and all associated legal documents. (vi)

Any IP arising from the constitutional programme, institutional operations, and community initiatives of the Secretariat. II. Relationship to G71 — Program Five The MNG Registry activates G71 Program Five (Institutional Recognition) — registration of Secretariat instruments, IP, and institutional identity in all applicable federal and provincial registries. The Registry provides the institutional IP framework within which the Secretariat's identity is formally asserted and protected across all applicable registration systems.
