Gazette No. 47 — Mohawk Nation Resident Identification Card

Be it known and placed on record: That the Mohawk Nation Resident Identification Card is hereby established as the identification document for persons residing within the Mohawk Acquired Territory or engaged with the institutional framework of the Secretariat. The Card identifies the holder by name, clan affiliation where known, and Secretariat ID number, and attests that the holder is recognized within the Secretariat’s institutional framework.

The Resident Identification Card is not a citizenship document. It does not by itself establish membership in the Haldimand Beneficiary Class. It is an administrative identification document for engagement with the Secretariat’s institutional systems.
